When it was done, she said " I LOVE this"! (happy dance)
Here's her first completed flower.
Just for fun, I cut some mini jellyrolls out of Pat Bravo's fabrics.
Delicious. On payday, this will be coming home with me. My daughter loves it too, so I think my stash is no longer safe.......
Here is week #3 of the hex-a-long and yes, she wants to make one too : )
I no longer need to worry what will happen to my stash after I am gone. First though, I hope to enjoy many years of quilting with my daughter.
Have a fantastic day!
So awesome Carla. I know what this means to you. Now that the door has been opened the possibilities are endless. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWow great work here Carla. Looks fantastic! Looking forward to see the progress.
ReplyDeletelove week 3 hexalong and the colours are great
ReplyDeleteGreat job getting her hooked on hexagons. Now the fun begins!
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I started quilting is my 13 year old wants to learn to sew and mom does not know how. To learn to sew I am learning to quilt. And maybe then I can rub some of that off onto her. She has started to create a quilt and I have been taking pictures along the way cant wait tell their is enough to tell a story about it.
