I'VE GOT MAIL

The packages are starting to arrive! It's fun getting mail these days. I've mentioned I am part of a scrappy block swap, and September is my month to get blocks made for me. I asked for scrappy x and + blocks, with an emphasis on orange and teal.


So far I've received 5 blocks (one is mine) The blocks have come from Sweden, the UK and the states.

 I also won some fat quarters from Dhia. These will come in handy for sure : )



A little peek at my "ticker tape" quilt.



I have to show you my latest treasure. I found this on Friday at our local thrift shop. My other change table was ok, but I couldn't leave this there. $39 ----------- love it.

    So many exciting things going on! Love those blocks. How cool is that to have them come from all over the world.....literally! Love the nursery addition!

    great blocks and awesome table. did you sew a cover for the changing mat? mine is just plain white, thinking about making a cover, or I may just buy it. hmm
    or maybe buy some special fabric from Connecting threads as they have some that's plastic coated or whatever it's called.

    Wow awesome table...I love it! Love the fabrics you won too...so far I've had no luck on the draws I've entered...but one day it will be my turn and I love getting things in the mail too...I've had a few parcels coming my way I'll have to post some pics soon.

    I loved viewing all your beautiful moda quilts on the previous post. There were lots of terrific pieces to view- I particularly liked the attic window quilt with the photos. It was really well done.

    Those swap blocks are coming out beautiful. The ticker tape quilt is on my list and that was a great deal on the changing table!

    Of course you couldn't leave that great table at the thrift store. What a score! Those blocks are great! Have fun with the new FQ's you won. They look like they'll go with those great blocks.

    Orange and teal - a brilliant combo. And that ticker tape quilt - what a great way to use scraps - is there a pattern? What a perfect table for almost anything, but especially for changing babies and storing all the necessities - great buy!
