At least a year ago, I purchased a pattern from
Prairie Grass Patterns. Last month I decided to start making it . I printed off the template and got to work. I soon discovered that my template was far too big so I e-mailed April to ask about it. She suggested I might have had my printer set wrong and therefore printed off the wrong size. She was right of course.
Having already purchased a Simply Color layer cake, I wanted to use it without any waste, so I asked hubby to make me a new template. After a few calculations, it was peddle to the floor!
My stack of snowballs grew pretty quick and I started to see the pattern come together.
I made 12 blocks consisting of 8 snowballs each. The quilt measures approximately 50 x 65
Once again my daughter and I went out in search of interesting places to take a few pictures. I love this old shed.
This particular photo shoot cost me a medium French Vanilla AND a box of doughnuts!
Across the road there are two old rail cars so we went there too.
This is such a pretty line of fabric. I'm glad I used it for this quilt. I'm thinking this pattern elevates the humble snowball to a whole new level.
Thanks for stopping by again. Happy stitching to you!
