I first posted about my 'Finish a-long' goals here. After three months all I have to show is one finish from the list. I managed to get my 'Chiclets' quilt done.
No progress:
1. Farmers Wife blocks - Not. One. Stitch.
2. Hexagons - some progress.
3. Scrappy trip around the world - together, but not quilted.
I guess one is better than none. Too bad there wasn't a link up for the most starts : )
That, I could handle.
linking up my finish(es) with Leanne at She Can Quilt
some hexies I started last night
These giants measure 2 1/2" across one edge. Soooo pretty
Happy Stitching today : )
And they ARE pretty! Love the chiclets, almost good enough to .... chew! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe Chiclets looks great, but those hexies are really wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love the Chiclets quilt too!
ReplyDeleteLovely hexagons. The colours just say 'spring' to me!
ReplyDeleteI know all about the starting projects.. I try not to start too many. but geesh some fabrics just force us to use them. love your finish.
ReplyDeleteRest assured you are not the only person who managed to finish only one of their FAL projects this quarter!
ReplyDeleteIt's a brilliant finish, really lovely. Your hexies are soo cute and springy
ReplyDeleteRachael
How lovely! Great finish.
ReplyDeleteStarting projects is so much easier than finishing them! Love your hexagons!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finish though! And a great start!
ReplyDeleteSome months we get lots done, other months, we don't get much done. Better luck next month/quarter.
ReplyDeleteCice, bright hexie fabrics - do you have a project in mind?
ReplyDeleteGreat finish! Love the idea of giant hexies! What are you doing with them?
ReplyDeleteYour hexies are gorgeous! And the Chiclet quilt is a beauty too! We all have start-itis in one form or another, don't we!!!
ReplyDeleteNot one Farmer's Wife, oh no, say it isn't so! LOL. The hexies are cute, whatcha making?
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to learn how to make those cute lil' hexies soon!
ReplyDeleteThat Chicklets quilt is beautiful Can't wait to see what you sew-up with those big hexies.
ReplyDeleteYour Chiclets photo is breathtaking, Carla! I'm not doing much better on my finishes either but am putting off the post because I might be able to squeak one more in that needs quilting. We will see how tomorrow goes!
ReplyDeleteHey, one great finish is cause for a celebration...celebrate, you must! This Chicklets quilt is awesome--love those colors!
ReplyDeleteMay only be one finish, but it's a fabulous one! :)
ReplyDeleteANY finish is woth while ... especially when it is so beautiful xx
ReplyDeleteAt least all those starts will give you something to put on your Q2, 3 and 4 lists ;o)
ReplyDeleteI would love a Start-along progress group--that is the only thing I seem to be good at. In fact, I excel. What are you doing with your luscious hexies?
ReplyDeleteThat's one more finish that me...:)
ReplyDeleteOh you made me chuckle out loud with the punctuated 'not one stitch' comment. The finish you did achieve is beautiful and the others, well they'll wait patiently for you :)
ReplyDeleteCarla! I love your finish! Gorgeous! And what an awesome photo to boot! Hahahahaa Not. One. Stitch. Yup, been there... done that. Um, maybe next time? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of your hexagons -- well, your whole palette, for that matter. They are light and bright and friendly colors.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss a post about Farmers Wife blocks? Is it a sew-along, a book, weekly, monthly, etc...?
Love the Chiclets quilt and those hexies are way too cute!
ReplyDeleteYou're cracking me up! I need a most starts club too! Just finished my first bed sized quilt though! Love your colorful quilt finish!
