I plan to arrange them going in every direction like this
I made another stocking for one of my boys' girlfriend. She likes bright colours : )
I've been knitting every chance I get. This is going to be a hat band
I showed my daughter in law's some yarn I had purchased and asked them what they liked. Both of them chose the plum. Uh oh...........
Sure hope I can manage three hats by Christmas!
How are your gifts coming?

ReplyDeleteThe hatbands look great!
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas gifts are coming along very, very slowly. I think I'll be sewing up until Christmas Eve.
I love your geese, Carla! I think you can get three hats done by Christmas. It seems to me that you work very quickly. Your knitting is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWonderful flying geese, and I can just see how it will be with lots of them flying every which way.
ReplyDeleteThree hats? That's a lot of re-run movie watching--hope they're something great!
My problem is, as soon as I finish up one I can think of two more I ought to make. Good thing there is a hard and fast deadline to Christmas or I'd be so behind I could never catch up!

ReplyDeleteWish my projects were coming along better, but we've had a serious health crisis arise with my mom, I'm hoping to get some sewing done this week though...
The flying geese were a great idea! I'll be in my first bee block this year and I'm having the hardest time deciding on a block for my month - decisions. . .decisions. . ;)
ReplyDeleteYour knitting is SO pretty. My gifts are not coming along so well. I planned to knit three cowls (a practice one for me, and then two as gifts). I have made so many errors on mine that I have kind of given up on the other two, at least in time for Christmas. Obviously.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing how your geese come together. They are fun so far.
ReplyDeleteTwo things I just haven't mastered. Knitting and flying geese. Well, flying geese I've done, I just don't like to do them. Why? I have no idea. All of this looks wonderful. You have serious knitting talent.
ReplyDeleteThe flock looks great, good luck with the hats!
ReplyDeleteThose flying geese strips look amazing together. I can't wait to see your finished quilt or the finished hats. Knitting must make such a welcome distraction. Philippa xx
