SUNDAY SNAPSHOTS

November was my month to ask for blocks from the girls in the Bee Purposeful group. I asked them for strips of flying geese and this is what has arrived so far :

I plan to arrange them going in every direction like this

I made another stocking for one of my boys' girlfriend.  She likes bright colours    : )

I've been knitting every chance I get.  This is going to be a hat band

I showed my daughter in law's some yarn I had purchased and asked them what they liked. Both of them chose the plum.  Uh oh...........

Sure hope I can manage three hats by Christmas!
How are your gifts coming?

  4. Wonderful flying geese, and I can just see how it will be with lots of them flying every which way.

    Three hats? That's a lot of re-run movie watching--hope they're something great!

My problem is, as soon as I finish up one I can think of two more I ought to make. Good thing there is a hard and fast deadline to Christmas or I'd be so behind I could never catch up!

  18. Your knitting is SO pretty. My gifts are not coming along so well. I planned to knit three cowls (a practice one for me, and then two as gifts). I have made so many errors on mine that I have kind of given up on the other two, at least in time for Christmas. Obviously.

  20. Two things I just haven't mastered. Knitting and flying geese. Well, flying geese I've done, I just don't like to do them. Why? I have no idea. All of this looks wonderful. You have serious knitting talent.
