What a fast and fun little quilt to sew!
The backing is a Kaffe Fassett print with giant cabbage roses all over. It's gorgeous.
Even though these are quite grown up prints, I'm thinking a plumb coloured knitted hat may be in order to make this a nice little shower gift. There is sure to be a baby girl sooner or later : )

ReplyDeleteIt would be a great baby gift, and the sort of thing a child could keep well into her teenage years and further. I still have treasures given me on the day I was born (and that was a VERY long time ago).

ReplyDeleteNow that is a fun quilt! I've always wanted to try the original jelly roll race, but I tend to break open my jellies and use them, so I never have one to try.
