My little ice cream quilt has been gifted and was well received by the recipient. Apparently her daughter really liked it too : )
Now it's on to another swap quilt
This one started with a picture in my head. An old stone wall with a painted door
It's not a door unless it opens, so some iron hardware was added
out from the cracks in the wall sprang some little tiny flowers---as tiny flowers often do
and then someone leaned a bicycle against the wall. Perhaps to visit whoever lives behind the door.......
A little embroidery and some top stitching to finish this off and then I will show you the whole thing.

Love the bike, I am wondering if it is inspired by my beloved Miss Daisy? :)
ReplyDeleteYou're very creative with your designing. Now, let's hear the story that goes with it. Like a poor, bicydle-pedaling suitor paying a visit to a girl he admires?
