I've been knitting every chance I get to sit down, but I am still slow. I need to finish this one
I want all my girlies to have toasty toes this winter : )
The black and white pair on the right is from my finish along list for quarter 4. Yay! So is the plumb pair, but I haven't got very far
These four quadrants
became this 24" block for the Heal group of do.good stitches
This was a fun block but very time consuming. That completes my blocks for the four groups I'm in this month.
Now on to some Christmas sewing!!!
linking up with Wool on Sundays
What a fun idea giving them socks - good luck finishing up! And I really like the quilt blocks! Very fun~
ReplyDeleteYou can do it Carla!!! Love all your colors and yarns - yummy!!! And the Heal group blocks are really striking - I had to pin them for later consideration :)
ReplyDeleteSpell it with socks, how cute is that! I'm loving the new do good stitches quilt. -Katja
ReplyDeleteI adore knitted socks!! Great presents :)
ReplyDeleteYour sock "JOY" made me laugh out loud! I usually knit fast when I don't want to run out of wool!! For all your efforts the block looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteGreat socks and blocks.....rhymes
ReplyDeleteNice, warm socks. Great gift.
ReplyDeleteSocks are sneaky. They look small, like you could knit them up in a flash, but they take brain power and more knitting time than you think. You have done well to finish so many!
ReplyDeleteThose socks are gorgeous. The JOY is very clever!
ReplyDeleteI really like that block too.
You must be the best stuffer of stockings EVER. Multiple pairs of hand knit socks? I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour socks are so much fun. I love this block!
ReplyDeleteSocks and blocks....love them all! I've never worn handmade socks...making them looks impossible to this non-knitter....I'm so impressed!
ReplyDeleteAll the socks look lovely well done and the blocks are too!
ReplyDeleteYour socks are filled with joy, Carla! Now it's my turn to laugh out loud....such a fun post, you clever gal! Those heal group blocks are fab. Did you crochet that lovely snowflake?

ReplyDeleteYour socks are looking great! I was planning to make socks for everyone this year but I've only finished two pairs. It's a wonder how long they take! Good luck with finishing yours :)
ReplyDeleteLove your socks. Your girls are going to be so warm and cozy. I have yet to attempt to knit socks. It is on my to do list for next year. Good luck finishing them up.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the socks, they are all beautiful colors. I love handmade socks, wish my Mom was still knitting, I always looked forward to a new pair every year.
ReplyDeleteI'm very impressed with your sock knitting and "joy" was a happy picture. I love the block at the end of the post--bright colors and all that white. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, your knitting is amazing! I love the colors you chose and I hear knitting socks isn't easy! I think you will have very happy (and lucky) recipients!

You're so talented! Love the socks and your JOY photo is fun too ;-))
ReplyDeleteGosh, where do I start? Do I start with that amazing block at the end? Or all the socks at the beginning? Or the precious JOY spelled out in socks (I think that's my favorite photo). Everything is terrific! Joy to you, too!
