A SEWY SUNDAY

I had another quiet Sunday where I got to sew for a bit.  I managed to piece two more farmers wife blocks.

block #3 Basket.  My handle is a bit big.  There's not a lot of room for seam allowance but I think I can make it work.

Block #4. Basket weave

Four down, one hundred and seven to go.

Happy Sunday.

They are simply stunning in those Kate Spain colours.

4/107 - just slightly daunting? ;-) They look great, though!

Very pretty Carla! I've been paper piecing mine in an effort to improve those skills but it's so slow. I think I'm going to stop doing that.

Beautiful blocks! I love Terrain and have a couple charm packs I can't wait to use.

Great colours! Hmm 107 to go... I'm not jealous - after starting my DJ I decided not to start any more of those crazy long quilts for a while! But I can't wait to see the finished product :)

I love the tone-on-tone white you are using for the contrast fabric in these blocks. The strong pattern will make quite a statement when it's all finished :)
