BACK AT IT

Quite some time ago, I started working on the blocks from Tula Pink's book 100 Modern Blocks.
Like most projects, it got lost in the shuffle somewhere. Cindy has started a sort of quilt along where we choose which project we are going to purpose to work on. It's called "Choose your own block- along"

I thought of these blocks right away , especially after seeing she is doing the same ones.  Perhaps with each others help, we can get this quilt done  : )

So, this week I made a few more

Here they are all together.   I'm nearly a quarter of the way there

It's been fun reviving this project and I think the accountability will really help me keep at it
Is there a quilt you want to revive?  Why not join us. The more the merrier  : )

  1. EEk. I have that book and I think I've made one block. I think it will be the first thing I start after all of the Christmas/fall birthday gifts are made. I never get tired of seeing everyone's block progress so I think that means I need to get a move on and make them myself.

  11. I have never seen this book in the flesh. It is only from looking at your blocks that I realise that crosses are the unifying theme of many blocks. It looks like fun to make.

  14. I opened your blog today and it said block 21 and I decided this morning that I wanted to make block 21 first as it looks fast and easy and I didn't have a lot of time. I love these blocks and now I'm inspired to get started seeing yours.
