NOVEMBER BEE BLOCKS

Three out of four groups have been taken care of so far this month. I need a certain solid to finish up the last one.

for the Humility circle of do.good stitches we did Churndash blocks.  I call these 'red and butter'

For the Joy circle of do.good stitches we made Friendship star blocks in wintery colours

and for Elizabeth in my Mid Century Modern group she asked for a Pineapple block.  This block isn't for the 'rushed' sewer   : )

foundation paper piecing makes it nice and straight

  3. I *love* the pineapple block!! Since I am definitely a "rushed" sewer these days, it's probably not for me ... :) ... but maybe when I slow down and treat myself to some holiday movie rentals?! OH, wouldn't that be sweet centered in the middle of a pillow cover?! Hmm. ;-)

  5. You are in some fun bees Carla! I liked making the pineapple block but I wouldn't want to make a whole quilt of them! That's what makes it a great bee block-share the 'joy'!

  16. Such pretty blocks. I had the pleasure of making Elizabeth's block when I was at her house for a few days. That was extra special!
