Maybe it's because I used templates AND half square triangles instead of using templates for each piece.
Next time I won't mix the two.
# eight: bouquet
Here's all my blocks so far. It's already starting to look like something!
Also, I've been doing a little basting on some diamonds. Just a little sneaky peek.
I'm looking forward to this Wednesday. I found an adorable blog ...........
oh your little blocks are looking so lovely in Terrain. very nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's coming together so well! I was ogling my Terrain last night as I was ironing fabric and working on blocks for my mini inverse garden fence - hoping to finish that one and a storm at sea in the next few weeks so I can start playing with Terrain - seeing this makes me all the more anxious to get started! And I'll just take your word for it when you say you struggled - looks great to me!
ReplyDeleteI love your Wednesday blogs, the Farmer's Wife is coming along great... What is the name of the quilt pattern that you are doing in the browns a manly looking quilt.... It looks great.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Carla!
Hugs Dawn

Your # 8 is gorgeous! How clever to have cut the leaf fabric that way. Genius.
