SOME 'ME' SEWING

Last week on the blog "Badskirt", I came across this foundation pieced block. Amy was offering it as a free download, so I got the pattern.   While piecing it, I remembered all those things about foundation piecing that aggravate me, but I think the end result was worth it.  She had several sayings on her blocks, but I like this one the best.

This will hang in my sewing room, and I'm sure it will make me smile every time I look at it : )

Just a little more stitching to finish the cord, then I can quilt it a bit. If you're up to a challenge, why not check out her blog and get the pattern too?

Oh, and I have permission from Jane's parents to post a pic of her.
Little miss 8 hours old.

They came for lunch, and she has changed already.

Happy Sunday.
