HEXIE UPDATE

After moving my sewing room, I discovered I had a few "misplaced" things.  I knew where a handful of my hexagons were, but where were all the others? I finally found them under the bed, in my storage bin. I'm more organized than I thought : )   I think I'll leave them on the wall so I know exactly where they are.

Still not sure where this is going, but I have half a year to decide that. I have done 22 plus a couple of regular ones as fillers.

I do love this birdie.

Between Grad photos/rehearsals, hair and nail appointments for darling daughter, and blubbering like an idiot, I will be working away on my jellyroll quilt.

Even straight line quilting can be challenging when there is lots to stuff through the hole. I'm nearly half done now.

Have a happy week-end.

  7. I love these! I especially like the variety of sizes. I don't think I've ever seen a big one like the bird. He is definitely my favorite. How big is he? Are you making these from a pattern or just making them up as you go along? The colors are gorgeous!
