Free motion doesn't usually go well for me, but I am happy with this one. It needs to be able to stand up to lots of washing. I think I like the back as much as the front. This is Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey for Moda. The little girls on the swings are too cute.
Now for the nursery quilt. Quilt Mania has done it again with this adorable birdie wall hanging.
The nursery is the same soft grey as my sewing room. I plan to have pops of orange and teal (no pink) so I dug through my stash and came up with these. I had forgotten about this plaid. THIS, I tell my hubby, is why I have a stash. It's perfect.
and it HAS to have a little hexie quilt
as well as some pieced "quilts".
I can't wait to get started on it. I haven't been this excited about a project since, well....... last week!
Have a great week-end.
