DONE, DONE, and DONE

The weather here on Sunday was so hot, I had no choice but to hide in my sewing room. I got quite a bit accomplished.  I figure the only way to keep on top of the blocks I have to do for the groups I have joined , is to just DO it.

July blocks for the Heal@do.Good stitches group (these blocks will go into quilts for hospice)


the fabrics in this block were given to me by a co-worker (thanks Jeannie) and I have no idea what they are, but I love how they look in this block

    well done a very productive day xx Wish you could send us come sun, we have had torential rain for weeks! Not so bad where I am because we have good drainage ,, unlike some places here in the UK that are suffering dreadful floods x

    The fabrics in your star blocks are just yummy! I emailed to get more info on the hexie BOW - can't wait to see more after scanning some of your older posts. I will prob finish my hexie quilt top this weekend and then I'll be starting another - they are sew addicting :)

    I'm really been enjoying all your posts, Carla! I'm usually in a rush (or at work and shouldn't be looking at blogs) and don't have time to comment, but these blocks and hexies are fantastic! I LOVE the blues paired with the other fabrics - you have a great way of doing that. I'm trying to get better at it and not be so "safe."
