CELEBRATING!

This week-end we celebrated a couple of different things. First off, we had a big family hoopla to celebrate one of our son's 27th birthday. On the way down the hill, two of our boys were ahead of us in Chad's truck. They hit black ice. The truck slid, grabbed, and rolled twice. When we came on the scene, the boys had climbed out (thank God) and were shaking the glass out of their hair and ears! When I saw them standing there, nothing else mattered. They were okay.

When the dust settled, my hubby and I celebrated some more.  Our boys were alright : )  Thinking of all the what if's can make one crazy, so we choose to rest in knowing that God is looking after them.

Being a good farmer's wife, I rolled up my sleeves and got back to work. These were a couple of easy blocks this time.

Lastly, I started a new quilt today.  This is Reunion by Sweetwater for Moda.  Love this!

It's coming together quickly so I will be showing you progress soon.
Happy quilting.

  6. I got in a truck accident once while we were moving had bunch of blankets in back of truck (long story short I ran into a tree at the bottom of a hill) when police called they did not tell my mom any thing about me and my brother when she came over the hill she saw all the blankets all over the road and figured I was dead along with a few others. Its amazing the things you can forget when the kids are safe.
