X, PLUS, AND COMMA

This past week some new Moda fabric came into the shop. I had ordered a fat eighth bundle of Comma by Zen Chic. It is as gorgeous as I had hoped. So much possibility here.

After seeing so many inspiring quilts made from the x and + block, I knew that's what I wanted to do.
I've made them before, but smaller, or for a swap that I sent away. These will be aaaaall mine : )

So fast and easy to make. This would be a great guys quilt I think. If you have a moment, pop over to Linda's blog and take a look at what she did with her Comma bundle.

I am hoping to have a finished top to show you in a few days. Until then, happy stitching.

  6. I love those blocks. I have three I made a while back but they're all scrappy. I like the idea of using one line. Yours will be interesting to watch come together, Carla! Looking forward to seeing them.
