ONE MORE LITTLE GIFT

We are counting down to the wedding now.  I thought that seeing the quilt was done already, I might have time to make a couple of pillow cases to go with it. I had heard so much about the pillow case pattern that is sewn in a tube, so I thought I would give it a try. They are as easy as anything to sew : )



My daughter works in a commercial embroidery shop so I asked her if she'd be able to embroider some maple leaves on a cuff for me. This is what she came up with.


I don't know what young people these days think of matching pillow cases, but hopefully they will like them. I think they look good with the quilt.

not sure why the cuff looks so dark here.........

    So pretty and Fall! You did a wonderful job on the pillow cases and I'm sure they will be treasured. I've made a few of the Tube Pillowcases for the Million Pillow case challenge; it's fun and easy! :) Have a great weekend

    Very pretty with the embroidery on the edge. They go so nicely with your beautiful quilt. I'll have to try the tube method to make a pillow case one of these days.

    Such a great idea to coordinate the pillow cases with the quilt. I've made those tube pillow cases before and think they're pretty slick. Who in the world thinks like that!? I hope wedding plans continue to move along smoothly.
