THE "WEE" THINGS

I have always loved little things.  Not miniatures per say, just cute little things. These little hexagons were started years ago.  They measure 3/8" along one edge.  At first, I was thinking a queen size quilt would be lovely.  Then I started piecing.  I then thought maybe a pillow would be more do-able.  Now with a new grandbaby coming, I'm thinking of a quilt for the little cradle I still have from when I was a baby.

Sometimes I forget why I stop working on some projects.  Bigger things take over I guess.

A few weeks back I went to a huge craft fair that happens here every year.  I picked up 2 of these little gift purses.  They are perfect for earrings, money, or some little treasure.  Why didn't I get a dozen!

This is a little sewing kit that a co-worker gave me. The little spools are not even an inch high.

Also, another 6" block from the farmers wife book. This was an easy one I chose for today. (I still managed to get a piece in wrong.  You can see where I picked it out)

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Your little hexies are beautiful! I think a baby blanket will be perfect out of them. Your new farmers wife block looks wonderful and what a cute little purse you picked up!
