ON THE DESIGN WALL ( FLOOR )

Don't you just love scraps?  Some of the best quilts I've seen, have been scrappy ones.
Today I thought I would show you another scrappy project I have on the go. These are giant hexagons made out of strips leftover from jellyrolls or borders etc.

I'm not sure how big I will go, but these are fun to make, so I'm not done yet : )  Then I have to decide on placement, and a border of sorts. Decisions, decisions.

Happy Sunday

What a fantastic way to use up those leftover strips! I even make sure that I have extra fabric strips sometimes, just so I can make a bonus quilt from the leftovers - and it doesn't take long to stitch them up!

What a great looking quilt already - you are so amazing at coming up with new ideas, can't wait to see the finished project.
