After wrestling with it for a few minutes, I decided to stand on a corner of it. This presented a new problem---I created a sail! I nearly had lift-off a couple of times, but I was not letting go of that quilt!
It was a little quieter in the doorway, so Hubby snapped a pic there.
It blew off right after I snapped this one.
Isn't the quilting gorgeous? Linda quilted it with giant daisies all over.
I absolutely LOVE this quilt. Katja has more books coming in soon.
You may want to add this book to your library. It's a wonderful resource for using up those scraps.
Happy stitching.

Wonderful quilt and wonderful photos. I can just imagine all the photo-taking scene as my husband and I go through the same gyrations every time I need to photograph my quilts, haha.
What a lovely quilt, Carla! So sweet! Great location choice for the pictures. :)
This is a great book Carla - I've been eyeing it in our local bookshop :) I laughed at your photos, it can be so hard to take a good picture some days! The quilt is lovely and the curves of the quilting are a nice balance to the straight lines of the blocks.
so lovely & yes I do love that huge daisy quilting! very entertaining photo shoot too!
I think this has to be one of my favorites! And the photo scenes are beautiful! Love the quilting.
Brilliant.
Carla, your quilt is beautiful!! Love your church! So neat! xo Heather
The soft color scraps make me want to get a sherbet and wrap up in it!

great photos. i love the one of the quilt over the handrails - it looks great with all aged paint. the daisy quilting is lovely too.
Beautiful quilt - perfect setting! And the wind just made it all that much more interesting - gave the quilt life! LOL!
Its beautiful and the quilting is just right.
I've been trying to resist this book, but I think you got me at Sunday morning! Beautiful fabrics in yours - thanks for sharing.

Lovely quilt, and well done for preserving and getting it photographed!
It's lovely! She did a beautiful job on the quilting, too.
Laughed a little at the photo shoot - man, if it's not raining, blowing or snowing, it's just no fun taking quilt pics! Ha. :-)
Beautiful quilt and what a wonderful setting! I'm so glad you and the quilt didn't fly away!!
Beautiful quilt. And the church looks fantastic. I hope you had fun posing for the pictures.

I love that book too. I love looking at the pics and dreaming. So many of them are doable eh!
You quilt is gorgeous and that church is a wonderful place for a photo shoot :)
I love this finished quilt! The perky daisies are a nice contrast to the straight lines in the piecing. Good eye for scouting out an innovative photo shoot site!

Beautiful location for taking photos of such a beautiful quilt.
Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! It makes me want to work faster on mine. I've been doing dark and/or bright for so long, it's been fun to work on a light quilt. Thanks for sharing the photos. Beautiful!
