Katja made a beautiful modern hexagon quilt. (maybe she will let me post a picture of it) I took my inspiration from her and made a 'modern mini' for my clothesline. The hexagons are 3/8"
Looks like one of my socks blew off the line : )
I'll add some sort of straight lines to this when I do the quilting
Block #29 of the hex-a-thon. I really like this block, so I used it as another little quilt. Now I have to make another one for the actual quilt it belongs to.
Now for the real stressor----the QUILTING! This always terrifies me. I haven't a clue what to do for quilting this. I guess I should dig out the new books I got, and choose something easy.
week #30
I sort of lost track of what week everyone is on when I was away. I'm pretty sure I'm behind now. Oh well, it's sunny today so maybe I can sit outside and get caught up.
Happy stitching today!

I hope Katja will let you post the picture! I got my hexie package in the mail with the first 28 patterns - I am officially behind until I can decide on fabric. ackckck.
That is so cool!
Teeny tiny hexes! Love them! Can't wait to see what you do with the quilting (I always panic about what to do when it comes to the quilting part...)
Love the Bird on a Wire Quilt! However you quilt it, I'm sure it will be lovely!
Good luck with the quilting - this one really will be different than most to quilt...anxious to see the next stage!
Your bird on a wire is looking so good. You're right - the quilting always presents a crippling decision!
I love the quilt!!!!
Love the nursery quilt! I often find it hard to know what to quilt too, but i am sure you will figure it out.
Love the hexie!
Visiting A and K in Ed in Sept. Will seem weird not to be in Kamloops:(
I just have lots of tops with only a couple quilted, so I'm no help at all. However, I can't wait to see it finished. It's too too cute.
