ONE WORD WEDNESDAY

I bought myself yet another book. I've been quite intrigued by all the wordy quilts I have seen on flickr, so I decided to try piecing some.

So........todays post is brought to you by the word --

and the letters --

and

GUESS WHAT? I entered two of my quilts in the Festival of Hexagons over at a.squared.w        and I made the top 10!
You can click here, and have a look at the entries. If you feel like voting, that would be very nice of you.  Even if I come in dead last, I still made the top 10  : )

Thanks and happy stitching.

Gosh, your letters look so perfect!! I just did a couple word blocks for a bee, and I just kinda free-pieced them. I borrowed Word Play to use it, but just had fun free-piecing. But yours look SO much better than mine! :) Great job!

Voted! Your quilt is wonderful :*) I've been tempted to play with words a time or two, but never seem to get the time to actually do it. You're doing a great job with them!

I'm in love with texty fabric AND word blocks. How fun! I have that book too but haven't done anything with it, although I'm planning on doing the Proverbial Quiltalong with Poppyprint.
