RANDOM THURSDAY

Cindy, over at Live a Colorful Life, hosts Random Thursdays once a week. This is where people link up totally random stuff. Today, I thought I'd join in.

First up: a feather block for the Scrappy?Sew bee it group

a close up of the background fabric --Blitzen by basic grey for Moda

It took a bit to figure out this pattern, but when I was done I felt so good!  I will definitely be making more of these.

My little grand daughter turned 2. She is such a treasure.

Have a great week-end everyone. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian readers.
Here's hoping I don't over indulge in too much turkey : )

That feather block is unusual, but I like it! And your grand-daughter is adorable - just one of the people you'll be thankful for on Monday, I'm sure! Monday will be our first Thanksgiving without my mom, but we can still be thankful - she's rejoicing in heaven, and we'll have a wonderful reunion someday!

Happy Thanksgiving! That feather block is so great... I love the pattern. Yours are just lovely.

I just finished catching up - boy, I've missed a lot! You've been busy. :-) Great embroidery rescue - well done! Memphis's quilt is so sweet, and Blitzen Squared is absolutely gorgeous. But I think my favourite is the micro-hexagons on that mini-quilt. Holy cow!! You do such beautiful work...
