The Sophia Cowl. It was the nudge I needed to get busy. I took a road trip and found just the yarn the pattern called for. This will be perfect for little Scarlet this winter. It's loaded with seed stitch, which is my favourite texture in knitting. If I hurry, maybe I can make a matching one for her mamma because there are instructions for an adult version too. ( It's a free download )
Speaking of yarn, look what else I found.
A little perspective......
I'm not sure what I will do with these. I was thinking teeny tiny socks - one in every colour.
Stinkin adorable.

how cute!! those just scream baby socks, lol!
Aww, I am so grateful that colors are around. And your taste is so darn good :-)
The cowl is going to be great - I love hte seed stitch texture. You could do Xmas baubles with the lion Brand (I am making Attic 24 bauble and your colours scheme would really suit!)
i say it all the time but i really wish i knew how to knit. i want to learn so badly! xo
My brain can't really process what weight that yarn must be. Is it cotton? Where did you find such a sweet little treasure. I think 25 little stockings strung together as an advent calendar. Or maybe little mittens. Or maybe both!
Carla, that cowl is going to be beautiful! I love that knitting, too. Now I'm mixing the 1 knit 1 purl differently but still simple patter for a cowl. Those little yarns are so adorable! They could be first decorations as they are and lately knitted to small socks. x Teje
Stinking cute! You're right. Have fun knitting!
Yum!
Such a pretty cowl you are making! Oh, I love that small yarn!! What size thread is it? Too cute! xo Heather
Now, I am following your blog, so I can up all the posts update. Love your knitting project. My friend just email me tonight and we will meet tomorrow. She is going to help me start a knitting project tomorrow.. I am excited!
The yarn looks delicious! Good luck with the new knitting project… :-)
Ahhh, knitting sounds really nice right now! I need to replace a broken circular needle before I can pick up my project again. It's such a great winter hobby.
Carla what a lovely blog you have.xx
Eye candy, that's what it is! Can't wait for the pic of the finished products. Here's a challenge, (Caryn's comment is the inspiration) how teeny tiny can you go?
Mary
