I love the knots in place of the buttons : )
No outfit is complete without the shoes
I didn't have time to try and find a tiny dress pattern for Janie, so she gets a pair of pants made from the leftover border print.
Quite some time ago, Katja gave me this little label and I have been saving it. It's perfect.
Oh! I bought another quilting book
This is how I justify it
That was easy : )

Awe...the little clothes are so adorable! I remember sewing dresses for my girly...now she hates dresses. =( Enjoy making them cute while it lasts...sometimes it doesn't last as long as we hope.
Carla, this is beautiful! What a sweet little dress!!
adorable!
I do hope you post a pic, if it's ok with her mummy...of her wearing the dress?!?
These are so adorable! I love the ties in place of buttons!
Those are super cute, I bet your girls will love them!

So, so pretty! Nicely done!!
I love the knots as buttons! Such a great idea!

Oh, this is my friend's book! How exciting to see that you bought it!!
The dress and pants are adorable, too!
Absolutely adorable dress and I love the fabric you chose! She will be looking very cute with those shoes too!
They will both look soooo cute in their easter outfits!
I love that my US friends make Easter dresses! it is such a pretty dress too!
Love the colors! You'll have such a fun Easter. You know that one of the nice advantages of knots-in-place-of-buttons is that you can easily adjust the length of the strap to fit the darling in it.
Happy Easter
So sweet! Thanks for sharing...you know that I have a little Janie in my life too!! I might need that book?
So sweet. Don't forget to post pictures of the little angels
So, so Sweet!
What a darling dress! Those 'knots' just finish it perfectly. And the pants are just too cute!
Such a darling little dress--she will look beyond wonderful in it on Easter morning. I love the knots, too, and the shoes and those cute little pants.
You made me laugh with how you justified the book. Terrific!!

Have fun reading your new book.
Lucky grandaughters!
Both the dress and pants are darling! I like the knots in place of buttonholes, too. My daughter's name is Bea, so of course I love anything with bees on it:)
That is just the cutest dress! I agree, the knots instead of buttons is an inspired touch! And the label - oh my!!!
