FRIDAY PHOTOS

Little by little I'm making progress on my list of UFO's

This quirky little "basket with blueberries" will be part of my Mid Century Modern quilt. I haven't appliqu├ęd for quite some time, but decided I wanted a block or two in my quilt.

I'm not sure how all the blocks will fit together, but that's half the fun right?

The letter Q for my hexi-bet quilt

This is the back side of the giant hexie baby quilt. It's getting straight lines 1/4" apart. I love the texture.

So far, it's working out pretty good.

Have yourself a lovely week-end : )

Lots of great projects. I like the idea of a clothespin mounted to hang random block happiness :)

I saw your 'bee' block on Flick'r- I love it! (BTW have my blocks arrived yet?...I'm starting to get worried that two letters I sent to the US have got lost!)

Lovely photos today, Carla! Like Cindy, I am still thinking, thinking, thinking about what block(s) to make for you :)

Your berries and basket is lovely and I think the back of the baby quilt is beautiful. You're a trooper to sew lines 1/4" apart on a whole quilt! Wow!!!

You know how to tease! I love those blocks (especially app.) That kind of quilt is my favorite kind. I have done a few following others patterns but have not done one of my own. Cant wait to see. The lines look great too. Cant wait to see! Snowing here today. Do you have tulips yet?

Geez, how DO you get those quilting lines so straight and even? I'm impressed with Q--it looks great. I'd have thought it difficult but now that it see it, it doesn't see so hard. Maybe it's the image in my head that isn't working so well! Happy weekend!

Love the idea of combining lots of textures and shapes in this quilt. I need to get going on your block!!

I am also intrigued by your Hexi-Bet series, but have a question--is that clothespin permanently affixed to your cupboard? It looks so cute holding those blocks, so my feeble brain was just wondering.

That texture is luscious! I don't know if I have the stamina to try that as a quilting pattern on a large scale but I really love it...

I love your Q!! Can you give me more information on your hexi-bet quilt? That sounds like a lot of fun!
