COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS and A SPECIAL DELIVERY

So it's November already, and with a new month comes a clean slate and new starts. A couple of years ago,  I made a quilt called Countdown to Christmas.

I have started another one and am planning to make it a bit bigger. The trees are three dimensional and use a lot of fabric. I think I can use the waste fabric to make the little pinwheels freeing up some fabric for more trees. That's the plan anyway  : )

we've had our first snowfall

You may remember a few months back I sent a quilt off to Nicke that I had pieced for Hospice. Well, she delivered the quilt and sent me a picture to share with you.

I'm honoured to be part of the Heal group of do.good stitches. I hope this brings him much warmth and comfort.

Enjoy your day

Beautiful quilt! I love the swirly quilt pattern, too. The Heal group is serving a great mission and I'm sure the quilt is much loved.

Your fabrics for your new tree quilt look great, even if they are laying in the snow. Thank goodness there is no snow down here in the valley!

Where there is snow there is an obvious need for a quilt!!! I love the chopped nine patch, and lovely colours, the Christmas quilt is looking good, 3D trees? How are you making them?
