UPDATE ON THE X AND PLUS SWAP

Happy New Year everyone!  I spent today in my pj's and it was wonderful.  I'm a bit late with this post but I got my 8 blocks done for December.

Four for me, and four for Cindy. I'm sure glad we partnered up because I think she has better scraps than me   : )

Here are all our blocks together. It's shaping up to be a great scrappy quilt.  24 out of 64.

I'm hoping that when Cindy bites into the chocolate I'm sending, she will forget all about me being a little bit tardy........

It's not too late to start if you would like to join in. Just grab a partner and choose a colour way.
You can get all the details at Carla's or Susan's inspiring blogs.

Have a lovely week end.

Spending all day in your pjs sounds great but making 8 plus and x blocks? I have made 5 in my life and I thought I'd go crazy. It was so hard for me to get everything to match up and end up the correct size so "my hat is off to you." What an accomplishment!

Oh I am so glad to have found you (via SewMamaSew)--your makes are lovely! Can't wait to see what's up your sleeve for 2014. And--I like the mismatchy stockings, makes it so homey and cozy, that's how I made ours too-in fact all our Xmas decor is mismatched LOL... Now, my goal is get in on a quilt block swap I am so inspired. :) Happy Quilting!

Your snowflake blocks are off the charts both in terms of creativity and in perfection in exception.

I know I'm WAY behind on reading. I'm having fun with these blocks--and I think your fabrics are fabulous!! Do you already have a plan for the actual quilt?
