A QUARTER 2 LIST AND SPRING CLEANING

Does organizing my sewing room count as spring cleaning? That's what I spent the bulk of the afternoon doing. I didn't make a list for the first quarter of this year, but I really need to do it this time. I have way too many tops that need to be finished so I am determined to get some done and out the door!

clockwise from top:

1. Flying geese quilt for the Bee Purposeful group
2. Twin Beach House quilts for Great Aunt Carol
3. Charm Pack Cherry #2
4. Economy Blocks need assembling and quilting

1. Charm Pack Cherry #1
2. Churndash blocks for the Heal @ do.good stitches group needs assembling and quilting
3. This blasted beautiful sock needs to be done (so I can start another pair)
4. Fractured 9-patch #2 needs assembling and quilting

That should keep me out of trouble for a while            : )

I'd say that will definitely keep you busy.

So many lovely quilts! I'm jealous of your socks. My knitting skills are lousy, so even part of a sock looks good to me.
Have a great weekend!

I'm new at this quilting thing, so I only have 2 quilt tops done. Unfortunately I'm still hesitant to sandwich and quilt.

All so beautiful! You will get them done, I have faith!

You sure have some lovely parts, pieces and tops there! Can't decide if the Flying Geese or Fractured Nine-Patch is my favorite. Are you quilting all of them?! If so, you'll be one busy quilter!

All lovely projects as usual Carla, but I especially love the Flying Geese! The colours glow! Good luck with getting them all finished...

You being you, Carla; me thinks that you will have these gorgeous quilt tops finished in next to no time. And....yes organising one's sewing room certainly does qualify as spring cleaning!!

With a quick flick of the wrist and a wave of the magic wand these quilts will be done, dusted and out of the door in a flash. And the magic word is.......... Philippa xx

Good for you at finishing these tops, I am doing the same thing with all the unfinished tops that I found while cleaning out the sewing room - all are donation quilts 7 down, many to go!!!

I think I spend a hour or two every week trying to organize my sewing room.

Great post! I like organizing. Just being in my room picks me up. Trying to get used to being apart from the sweet ones. What a great visit we had!

So many lovely projects! I'm particularly looking forward to the flying geese and the economy blocks quilts. These socks are great colour, too, and I admire your knitting on multiple needles.

I've kind of run into the same logjam over here, now that I've started to quilt a few more of my own quilts. Before it was finish the top and send it over to the quilter, but now, I'm my own stalled patch in the production process!

I love seeing all your projects--excellent work, as usual!

I am in denial. I refuse to list my unfinished works in progress. Well done, you!
They all look lovely.
