LOG CABIN CIRCLES

Every spring I wait with baited breath for the Quilt Sampler to come out. I was grocery shopping on Mother's Day and there it was!

The quilt on the front cover caught my attention so I made a couple of blocks right away.

Then a couple more just to see what four would look like

I purposely used the scraps from my arrow blocks because I'm thinking of using these in the quilt too. They look good hanging out together

I'm not sure yet where this is going, but I like it.  A lot  : )

Arrows have been popping up in the blogosphere and will be landing in my mailbox soon. Looking forward to showing them to you.

I saw that quilt too and thought it was fabulous. It's such a great scrap quilt. It looks terrific with the arrows.

Our LQS is in that magazine - Roxanne's.

Your arrows and the log cabin circles were made for each other--a really nice combination!

I love what I see! I really like how the log cabins make a circle, very cool. I did not like the arrows when I first started seeing them in blog land but I really, really like them now and they are on my to-do list. I think I need to get a copy of Quilt Sampler also.

The fabrics look fabulous, and the circle log cabin very tempting. I will watch for the new book, didn't know it was out. Can't wait to see your new quilt design.

I just bought that issue too and really liked the same quilt. Amazed how you jumped on it. I was thinking of making a feather for your bee block. Would you prefer another arrow?

I love all the blocks, but I am itching to make some of those log cabin circles myself.

I, too, snatch up the Quilt Sampler magazine as soon as I see it out. I just love looking at the photos of all quilts hanging in the shops. I like the colors in your new blocks. They look good with your arrows.

Wow-wee - your blocks look great! I need to look for a copy of this Quilt Sampler. I am working on the same block (off-set log cabin) for the RSC2014. You can see my most recent on my blog - debraharryquilts.blogspot.com. Love seeing others working on the same pattern!
