My little ice cream quilt has been gifted and was well received by the recipient. Apparently her daughter really liked it too : )
Now it's on to another swap quilt
This one started with a picture in my head. An old stone wall with a painted door
It's not a door unless it opens, so some iron hardware was added
out from the cracks in the wall sprang some little tiny flowers---as tiny flowers often do
and then someone leaned a bicycle against the wall. Perhaps to visit whoever lives behind the door.......
A little embroidery and some top stitching to finish this off and then I will show you the whole thing.

Very cute. I especially like the flowers! Look forward to seeing more.
Hi Carla! This looks very cute and enjoyable Project! x Teje
So excited to see it finished! Love that bike.
this is adorable...
Oooh...so, so sweet! I am loving where your amazingly, creative mind is leading us, Carla. I want to sit awhile against that pretty old stone wall and drink in the fragrance of those pretty flowers....but I might be tempted to pinch that gorgeous bike!
It looks so cute. I love the colors you are using.
Oooooooa story........I am intrigued! It is kind of like a Bob Ross Painting....as he tells a story about the "happy little squirrel living in the tree."
Intriguing!
Wow, creative genius in action!
Loving what I've seen so far. Waiting patiently for the rest of the story...
I'm loving everything about your little quilt. Adorable.
Can't wait to see the reveal. It looks amazing already. So many little details. Love it.
You are so creative. I want to live behind that door and ride the bike as well....if only I could still get on one....giggle.
Fun to see this little treasure take shape, one layer at a time. Can't wait to see the final project!

Love the bike, I am wondering if it is inspired by my beloved Miss Daisy? :)
You're very creative with your designing. Now, let's hear the story that goes with it. Like a poor, bicydle-pedaling suitor paying a visit to a girl he admires?
How very creative of you! Love all the little realistic touches, and can't wait to see the final quilt! And hear the story behind it too :)
What a cute details! Nice project!
Gasp! The door, the flowers, the bicycle. I'm lovin' it already!
