A CHURN DASH FLIMSY

All the blocks arrived from my bee mates in the Joy group of do.good stitches.  In the evenings, between periods of hockey I managed to get the top together

This is the second time I've made a quilt like this. Different size churn dashes make it more fun I think

I dug through my backing pile and found this green print from STOF

Hopefully I can get this done soon and sent off to Vickey  : )
Have a great week end!

Such a fun quilt. The different sized churns do add oodles of interest and fun. Every colour of the rainbow there making the eye skip along in a merry way. Fabulous fabric for the backing, Carla!

oh I love this! Really need to make a churn dash myself one of these days! I'm curious what guidelines you gave your group - palette and otherwise...

It's so pretty, Carla! Though, I think some of those blocks could be called "Hole in the Barn Door." I'm pretty sure the size of the center is what changes the block name. So you've made a Churn Door quilt?! Or A Hole in the Churn Dash? Ha, ha.

I am always surprised with how well these quilts go together, considering so many different people make these blocks. This is so colourful and cheery. It is looking great.
