MILLEFIORE UPDATE

April is month number 4 in the New Hexagon Millefiore Quilt Along, but I'm only on number three.  I had every intention of keeping up, but other things seem to creep onto my sewing table.

I decided this one will be turquoise and orange.  What a fun combination!

My plan is to have the turquoise/aqua in each block, unify all the blocks

One, two and part of three

This is them placed into the graph. Not perfectly placed, but you get the idea  : )

I'm thinking this will be one of those quilts that when all is said and done I will think "I can't believe I pieced all that by hand!"

Have a great week end!

Oh wow! This is looking great, Carla! I have recently talked with three friends who are doing it, and struggling to keep up. I understand these take a lot of time to put together. It would be fun to join in, if this was the only thing I had going. Keep up the good work. Your colors are looking really good together.

LOVE. Turquoise and aqua is my favorite combo so I’m loving this new guy!

And I know that at the end of this all, *I* will definitely be thinking, “I can’t believe she pieced that all by hand!” :)

Can't believe you pieced all this by hand - love hand stitching but I haven't the patience for EPP. It looks stunning so far and love the linking colour! Keep going and thanks for joining up with #scraptastictuesday

I like the idea of the turquoise running through the whole quilt. It's going to be amazing and definitely one of those quilts that you should be very proud of. I keep toying with starting one. It's on my bucket list for sure.
