It's been fun choosing fabrics for each block and sewing up the samples.
The quilt ends up being 90" square, so a really good size. Not sure about pricing, but we are working on it : )
I'm off to work. There are people to meet, fabrics to choose, and blocks to sew !

That is one great looking quilt. I love the blocks you have made.
oh my gosh those blocks are beautiful and the quilt itself is amazing!!!
Sounds like a good day to me!
You've sure gotten a nice start on this very striking quilt. I like your colors. BOMs can sure be a great way to learn and end up with a quilt. Have fun!
Ooh, I have this book and the whole thing looks rather intimidatingly large. A block of the month would be a great way to do it.
Mmm....fun you say. I believe you just because you say so. Looks like a lot of piecing to me BUT of course the blocks you have showcased are amazing. My goodness Carla, what will those clever fingers whip up next?? =)
The blocks are looking great.... Looks like an interesting quilt, might have to check this one out.....
That's going to be a great looking quilt Carla! I can really understand why it would be so interesting to make with all the great colour choices you are able to make in the process! Great fussy cutting too!
Hi Carla! This looks exciting and different kind to me, too! x Teje
Lovely blocks Carla, that quilt will be awesome! Every time you show Patchwork City blocks, I feel so tempted to start working on the quilt. I simply can’t, so I flip through the pages of the book, put it aside and take a deep breath!
This quilt looks like fun! Love the bits of fussy cut fabric.
Oh, I'm so in! But you know that already. ;-) Every time you post a photo though... It makes me want it to be the Fall!
This is going to be great!
What a cool quilt to make! You always make the most intriguing projects!
We added this book to our guild library but I'm still undecided on how I feel about the block. Yours look greta so maybe it's just the fabrics in the book. Will make a good block of the month though.
I was just wondering for the Sequins block (pattern 22) did you use the freezer paper template technique or paper piecing? Thanks so much
