I went to my go to stocking pattern by Imagine Gnats. I made mine a bit smaller tho
After piecing the feathers for this baby's quilt, I had oodles of fabric left over so I made his stocking from that.
and just look at this backing. I found this on my travels and new it would come in handy for one of my axe wielding, plaid flannel wearing boys! I wish I would have bought more. Why didn't I buy more ???
I did the same thing for the other baby's stocking.
These are all Art Gallery fabrics except for the backing. It is a Dear Stella print
details : )
both of the stockings have polka dot lining----for the win
and as if on cue, it snowed. May as well roll with the punches and use it for a photo op : )

They are beautiful Carla. I'm sure they will be loved for years to come.
Super cute! I made my daughter-in-law's stocking with this pattern and I like it alot!
Very apt prop for your photo shoot. :) The stockings are great. Not the teeniest bit girlie at all. They'll be a favourite for years.
'She' clicked her fingers and on cue it snows. The perfect stockings for little boys, they are adorable, Carla!
Adorable!!! My DIL asked for stockings for them and the children (5 total) for Christmas this year, so I've got a few of those coming up in my future too.
Those are both sooo cute. I love the backing fabric. The snow makes a perfect backdrop too.
They are both so cute! I love the little bug detail too :) It snowed here all day today but, alas, I had no Christmas sewing I needed to photograph!
Adorable Carla, Two lucky little boys, all your need is Santa to arrive.
These are lovely Carla, definitely heirlooms in the making.
Hope you link them up to Ho,Ho,Ho and on We Sew this month, there is some lovely Christmas fabric up for grabs :)

Very cute. A first Christmas is a special event, and these stockings will be adored for years to come. I love the snow picture - I've never seen snow in real life.
Oh,my goodness, Carla, what a score! Just perfect for those new little babies, good job!
Wonderful stockings! and congrats on your two new baby grands!
Such cute little stockings and the pictures are wonderful!
oh my gosh, those are absolutely stunning new stockings!! No doubt heirlooms that will always be treasured, I love how chic they look.
Cute stockings. I need some of that owl fabric. I just got an owl mug, now I need to make a mug rug for it. I'll have to keep my eyes open for some.
Axe weilding and plaid flannel make me think of the lumberjack song!
I imagine that your house has one of the best displays of Christmas stockings of anyone in the neighbourhood, maybe even the whole province!
So fabulous. All my daughters-in-law said they had the stockings covered, so I don't get to make any! But it's fun to see your renditions. I love all your fabric choices--they'll be loved forever!

Love the look of your stockings. Especially the animals peeking out here and there. I can hardly believe that with all the sewing I've done over the years I haven't made my own kids stockings and now they're all grown up. Maybe this year.
Oh super cute! Will have to get pattern for next year!
These are adorable! You have chosen the cutest fabrics :)
They look lovely Carla, perfect for the two new grandsons (how exciting!). The snow is the perfect backdrop too.
