ANOTHER SCRAP QUILT

Just when I thought it was safe to walk past the scrap pile........

.........I started yet another quilt.  This book is going to be well loved, I can tell.

This one is named Sunday Morning . It uses the quiet, softer, low-volume fabrics from the stash.

I started digging through my bins, and found lots of bits that I had forgotten about.

Just three blocks in and I was hooked.  So fun and easy to make.

I'm not sure how big I will make this one, but I certainly have enough fabrics pulled and sliced for a big
quilt. The idea is to get rid of scraps, right?
I really love how it's looking so far.

Linking up with freshly pieced today for W.I.P. Wednesday.

Your blocks look just beautiful. I had a stack that I was going to donate to our church quilting group, but now I'm going to go through it again in case I need to save some of the fabric for this quilt.

Looks like that is going to be a comfy, cozy kind of quilt. Sunday Morning Quilts has been on my list for a while - maybe for mother's day?!

There's nothing wrong with scrap quilts, at least in my eyes they are the best. Although I must say, this Thimbleberries one is shaping up nicely.
Have a good weekend and Happy Mother's day,
Marie

Hooray for new projects! You're so virtuous to work through your scraps some more right after your other scrap projects. Hope you're having fun with the new grandbaby!
