JUST BEACHY

It took me a while, but I got the second Beach House top together.

Making two quilts the same required a bit of discipline. It was kind of boring the second time but I kept thinking how nice the Beach House will look with these on the bunk beds. My grandgirls are too young to sleep out there yet, but their cousins have already.  Apparently they were cold.       : )

I think I'm going to have nightmares of sashing not lining up for the next little while!   Glad the piecing is done.
It would be nice if by some stroke of magic these could get quilted but I don't imagine that is going to happen. Even MORE discipline is required now!

Enjoy your day.

Hi Carla! They are a beautiful pair! I know what you mean - it's not interesting to make the second same. When I made two quilts with men's shirts, I felt the same even the pattern was a little mite different. Still the fabrics were same. x Teje

Gorgeous! Those fabrics are perfectly suited for that pattern. They will look fabulous on bunk beds! You'll just have to keep focused on that to get the job done! Also, give yourself a reward when they are both finished, maybe that will help?

Very nice matching set! Not sure if I'd have the perseverance to make two of the same. :)

These are so pretty! I've been trying to come up with a pattern to use for my sister-in-law who likes a lot of white, and I think this pattern will do the trick. xo

I love these... so airy and fresh looking! I'd struggle with 2 the same as well, I think that's why I stick to lap and smaller quilts as too much repetition gets to me. Those are going to be some gorgeous bunk beds!

It does become a bit ho hum when one has to stitch two identical quilts....but...your two are gorgeous. They evoke a sense of happiness; of light and soothing colour. Your two quilts will look superb on those bunks!!

These are so pretty and perfectly beachy! It is a little hard to repeat and make a second of anything, but these will look great together! If you find any magic quilting fairies, will you send them my way when their done at your place? : )

Oh, so pretty! Good for you to make twin quilts and inspiration for me because I am getting ready to do that same thing very soon for my two grand daughters. Last winter, I made look alike Batman quilts and the only thing that kept me going was a birthday deadline!
