This pile was all in that orange basket there behind. I dug through and started pulling out pieces I thought would work.
Fabrics by Aneela Hoey are just perfect for these blocks. We still have a bit left in the sale area at work. If Gloria doesn't beat me to it, I might get more : )
Slowly but surely they are taking over my design wall. I don't think the scraps will fit back in the basket so I guess I'll keep going.

Keep going, it's looking great! These are fun little blocks and will make a quilt full of smiles.
They look fantastic! I'm not joining in on this one, but I'm loving seeing what everyone's making.
What fun blocks from your scraps! You are on a roll ~
:-}pokey
Yes, keep going- I am enjoying watching these come together on IG! But I will be resisting at this stage. My scraps will have to wait!
Those look fun! Isn't it a wonder how fabric fit in a basket then won't fit again even though you've used some of the fabric? Mystery of the universe.
I absolutely love your blocks! I've been tempted to join the club, but I'll just have to watch from the sidelines.
Looking great !!!!
You have some treasures amongst your scraps! Lovely so far.
Sounds like a plan Carla :)
Great way to use those scraps!
looking good ...I love the way you CHOSE your fabric by dumping it all on the floor!! lol x
Absolutely wonderful blocks and a great way to use up scraps but I can't help feeling that the more you use the more the scrap heap grows. At least it seems to in my house. Philippa xx
it looks wonderful, love all yout cute prints in there
I have been seeing these recently but can't figure out why they are being called economy blocks. They will always be square in a square to me, but maybe it is that extra square. Anyway, yours are surely the cutest I have seen. You must have a great scrap pile!
your blocks are gorgeous!

These are some of the cutest I've seen. So tempted to join in but I must have some other finishes first!
Yours is very cute! Why do they call this an economy block, do you know?
Very fun! I am going to have to try this.

Those look wonderful. How big is the finished block?
Wonderful beginning! Your center images are delightful!
OMG, my OCD kicked in. Do you feel me folding all those little scraps! Keep going, it is adorable. You have inspired me to start some squares myself.
amazing how that scrap basket multiplies when you are not looking isn't it?
Great looking blocks, but I am going to work really hard at resisting starting some.
I've never seen your quilt room look so messy! LOL. Looks great Carla!
So it isn't just me? I used up some scraps the other week and I can't seem to get them all back in now! It must multiply somehow! I love this use of scraps! It looks awesome!
Your blocks look fantastic...how big are the squares in the middle...3 x 3? I just might have to start one like this....great work!

They're adorable! They look like they'd be fun to make.
Your blocks are looking really good. It's fun to feature a little fussy cut something in each center.
Love your blocks!!! Wowie!! Great job!!!
Fast, fun, frugal, and FANTASTIC! (Okay, I can't wrap my head around them being "fast", but I'm no quilter - which is why I'm not commenting on your wonderful giveaway post.) These blocks pack a wonderful, graphic, dose of happy. Could get lost in gazing at such a whimsical quilt. Perfect.
I have noticed these fun little blocks posted on blogs. I have some fabrics that might work well with this but told myself to start no more new projects. Your blocks are super fun.
Those blocks are fab! Amazing what potential lies in a heap of scraps in the right hands :)
perfect block to show off those fun prints.
Very cool, Carla! I love what you've done. And just from scraps, huh? You've got great scraps! I'm resisting this one, as I always seem to have to do. I'm out of time!
