LITTLE MAKES 2

Last week my daughter in law became an aunty. Her brother and his wife had their first child. Little Hudson Theo weighed in at 7 lb. 15 oz.

The quick change pants by Anna Maria Horner is my go to pattern when I want a quick gift

and the little Flour Sack hat is my favourite baby hat to knit

and the back of the pants

so stinkin' cute

The pants are fully reversible too

I hope to meet the little man very soon.
Enjoy your week-end

How cute! Do you use a pattern for the knit hat? The last time I knit a newborn hat I winged it and it was almost too small for the newborn to wear! oops!

What a nice gift, Carla and I see you used the letter fabric! LOL
Great hat pattern as well, good for you.

Just adorable! Both pieces. They're the perfect gifts for a little boy. That pattern looks great. A pair of shorts is about the only thing to sew for boys, and I too have a PDF pattern that's sized from newborn to teens. I plan to use it for years to come. You've made a good pattern investment too, I think.

What cute little pants. If I ever have grandkids, I might have to learn how to make clothes for them.

They are both so very cute! and the fabric on the pants is very eyecatching, perfect for a little boy! Is there a pattern for the hat?

I've heard of time flying on wings of lightning, but I think you have fingers of lightning to get all these projects done! What a darling gift set for a new baby--I'm sure they love it.

I agree with everything Elizabeth said. What an adorable set. So that little hat goes fairly quickly? At least for you....
