The other day hubby and I were out looking for a place to take a photo, when one of my boys called. He was way up in the hills with a flat tire. May as well turn a negative situation into a positive one!
The scenery really lent itself to the quilt I think
Behind the arrows, I quilted a large arc to simulate a bow. The idea was to make it look like they had just been shot. Then some swirly swishy lines. In hind sight, I should have just done straight lines all the way across. Oh well, live and learn : )

Oh squeal!!!! I love this quilt!!! One of these days I'm going to treat myself to some "me" time making a few of your fun arrows! Congrats on the finish!
What a wonderful arrow quilt, I love the design you've came up with - the end project is beautiful and the straight line quilting really complements the arrows. Looks like a great scrap buster too
On my list for sure! What a gorgeous quilt...love it!

I love the arc and the "swirly swishy lines" - I swear I can see a hand holding the arrow! :)
The location is breath-taking. I thought initially it was in New Mexico, but I see that you live in gorgeous Kamloops.

Beautiful quilt and location. I really like the swirly bit - it adds interesting contrast and movement.
Oh, Wow! This is terrific, and I think the quilting is great fun and really carries the arrow motif all the way. Congratulations on another finish (and hope you got the flat tire fixed)!
