CHOOSE YOUR OWN BLOCK - ALONG

This week I am linking up with Cindy for the Choose your own block--along. I decided at the start  that my blocks for this quilt along will be the Tula Pink's City Sampler because I really want this quilt

Here are this week's blocks

also, I want to be working on these scrappy blocks regularly. Two more were made

for a total of six.

I'm not sure how big I will go with this, but there are already 294 squares used from my scrap bins. Yay! I'm happy that my scrap bins are actually a bit neater after going through them. I have a long way to go yet though  : )

Those blocks are gorgeous! I love the fabrics you are using.

I also really like those scrap blocks. Those aqua centers make such a great accent in the middle.

You've made great progress this week! I adore those City Sampler fabrics and I just love a scrappy block quilt. I've been piecing 1 1/2" scrappy blocks as Leader/Enders while working on my Dear Jane blocks. They grow quickly.

Everyone seems to be jumping on the Tula bandwagon! (Not me). It's kind of fun seeing the blocks in all the different fabric choices.

I think the Scrap Vomit quilts are a lot of fun. I made one and was thinking about a second one. The grandkids like to play I spy with them because I used a lot of novelties.

Good luck on your projects!

Aha! Another clever scrap idea! I like how the regular pattern adds a unifying element to an otherwise random quilt.
Congrats too on the prize over at Crazy Mom Quilts. I spotted your name in the list of prize winners. Hurrah!

Your Tula blocks look great, and I like the consistent use of aqua and black to tie together the scrappy trip top.
