My fabrics are "terrain" by Kate Spain, plus some scraps thrown in , in an effort to "use it up, wear it out, make do, or do without".
blocks 1 and 2:
I also wanted my white to have a lot of texture, and this one does. Love it.
The flour bag was given to me by a neighbour when we used to live on a farm years ago. She gave me about 6 or 7 of them. They are really neat. I'll show you more in future posts.
Speaking of new starts, Scarlet is going to be a big sister. Yay!!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Nice blocks. I like your fabrics (kate spain has beautiful designs), particularly I like the fact you used some textured white.
Congrats on your news - very exciting!
And love your start of the Farmers Wife project - it'll be amazing in Terrain!
So many amazing things this wed. Another grandbaby on the way how exciting. Love the first blocks of the Farmers Wife. Goina look great. Keep us posted!
I'm not a farmer but can I join.. Your blocks look great!
Great blocks, fantastic choice of fabrics! Congratulations on your news!.
Can that little Scarlet be any more adorable?
Love your blocks!
A grandma again! Gotta love it.
Congratulations! This is very exciting! The first to blocks look great.
Your blocks are beautiful! I'm working on a project with Terrain as well--so bright and cheery, very fun to sew!
And Scarlet is so adorable. I have a brand new (2 weeks tomorrow) grandson. Aren't grandchildren the best gift ever??
Fantastic blocks! I am trying to finish a storm-at-sea quilt so I can start playing with my terrain charm pack and jelly roll! I just love it, and I noticed I have a lot of older things in my stash that would mix nicely. Also, congrats - always exciting to have a new little one to sew for, right?!?
