September was gorgeous! We've had beautiful weather all month so I found myself out and about more. I hunkered down the other day and got my bee blocks done for September. Phew!
These stash builders I've been getting sure come in handy. This month we got four fat quarters from the line 'Rush Hour' by Studioe Fabrics. I cut into the small text for one of my blocks
meet Jack.

Great blocks. I love your Jack and your heal blocks are beautiful too.
Those blocks are lovely, and the black and white prints you got are to die for! I might have to pick some of them up.
They are all pretty but the last two are just gorgeous!
You've left me feeling totally inspired! In fact, I'm trying to figure out if I can sneak out of work early to go home and sew! Just love your blocks - have been wanting to make some Union Jack blocks myself, but might have to put it off because the bottom two have me literally drooling...they are just fabulous!
So many lovely things about this post. I didn't have a hankering to make my own Union Jack, but yours is fabulous. I especially like the text print you used. I may have to add this to my to-do list ...
As always your post is so inspiring!!! I'm with you, I may have to make a quilt myself out of those last two blocks - such wonderful color play!!!
K is making an x and o quilt and she has lots of little half square triangles already sewn and pressed... hmmm, I think she may like this! Very bright and cheerful Carla!
Lovely post! The Jack is gorgeous....a lovely fabric combination....and the last two blocks are so pretty and colourful!
Happy week.

Your winged square blocks are beautiful. Great choice of colors. A quilt of them would be gorgeous.
Oh man... so much gorgeousness in one post... LOVE! (That Union Jack square has me itching to do one myself!)
Happy to meet you "Jack"!! What a gorgeous block. I agree, a quilt with those pretty winged square blocks would be beautiful. Those fabrics are gorgeous!
The Union Jack was a challenge, wasn't it? Yours looks great though! And the Winged Squares are very pretty!
Lovely to see all your blocks lined up and looking so beautiful! I about lost my marbles trying to make the Union Jack, so I'm glad you had great success with that block.

Those are my fav Rush Hour fabrics.
oooh, those winged square look gorgeous - looks like lots of work, but so worth it!
Sure love the block and whites. Your blocks are all terrific!
Gorgeous blocks! Really love that Union Jack, Carla.
I agree, a quilt with those blocks - a must have. You used some of that Rush Hour fabric perfectly. I love how it looks in that block.
The pixelated block looks interesting.
ohhh . . . especially love that last orange/pink block.
As usual, your blocks are stunning. You have a great eye for colour.
Gorgeous bee blocks!
Great blocks, Carla. I remember how much I liked the winged star when we made them for Cindy in MCM Bee last year.
I love the winged square blocks (beautiful colours) and I have seriously been considering setting a Union Jack block when I am queen bee. It wouldn't be too tricky, right?
Your winged blocks are just beautiful. I really love them. Is there a tutorial for those somewhere? Thanks for your help.
