ONE MORE LITTLE GIFT

We are counting down to the wedding now.  I thought that seeing the quilt was done already, I might have time to make a couple of pillow cases to go with it. I had heard so much about the pillow case pattern that is sewn in a tube, so I thought I would give it a try. They are as easy as anything to sew : )

My daughter works in a commercial embroidery shop so I asked her if she'd be able to embroider some maple leaves on a cuff for me. This is what she came up with.

I don't know what young people these days think of matching pillow cases, but hopefully they will like them. I think they look good with the quilt.

not sure why the cuff looks so dark here.........
