FUN IN THE SUN

Well, sort of. Just because it's cold outside, doesn't mean we can't take advantage of the sun. I have finished the solids and scraps quilt and I am quite happy with it. Easy and fast.  My daughter and I thought we would get a picture of it with the sun coming through.

Of course that wasn't without it's bloopers ; /         (look out dearie)

okay.....maybe not

There we go!

I plan on quilting this with straight lines---no surprise there. I have a red polka dot binding that will frame it nicely.
My granny squares are coming along too

My daughter is all excited for the Paul Brandt concert tonight
I'm excited to have the house to myself : )
