I showed this at the Moda club. "Hello Luscious" granny square quilt.
I added corner stones to mine so I wouldn't have to work too hard lining up the sashing ; /
Also, I framed it with a 4" border just to make it a bit bigger. I really like this quilt!
Stunning! As usual!
Carla, I love your granny square quilt! You little temptress, today is Sunday Scraps Day, how can I resist starting my own granny squares? Very clever to add the cornerstones, it adds a finishing touch, too.
This turned out so beautiful. How big is your sashing? I am almost to this stage with my granny squares, but want to make a queen sized quilt for a friends birthday, so I have a few more squares to go.
oh, Carla, this is so pretty. i love the addition of the cornerstones.
Lovely! Can't wait to see the show and tell from Moda Club. Hope you had a great time yesterday!
How cute! That Hello Luscious fabric makes for some serious eye candy. I like your anchor squares in the sashing - they definitely add a nice touch!
I love it, the Moda Lovely jelly roll worked out perfect. And once again another fabulous Moda class yesterday, so many great quilts were shown.
it's lovely. I didn't think about this function of the cornerstones but it makes sense ;)
beautiful! I really like your granny squares!
Just turned out wonderful!
practically perfect in every way!
Such a pretty quilt I love the border colour - just lovely
I love it!!! Great job! :)
I keep coming back to this quilt - it's as lovely as your Reunion tube quilt. I may end up making this one as well!
Wonderful looking quilt. A perfect inspiration for doing a scrappy Granny Square quilt from the left overs in my stash.
the Top looks so pretty, bright and lovely fabrics and a great pattern.
Do I need another quilt to start? Of course not, but this one is so challenging. Maybe not a big one, just a table runner or baby quilt...
I really REALLY love this quilt!
Hello Luscious is beautiful. This is a great quilt to get in all of the different prints.
Love the colors! Love Love Love the blue border!
This is beautiful, love all the colors. Has the name of this block changed, when I made it 25 years ago it was called a friendship block because friend were to sign in the center their names.
It is a beautiful quilt! Great job! I am so tempted to start a granny square quilt myself!
I'm working on my granny squares. Your quilt is so very pretty, I never get tired of seeing these little blocks. I like the border too. Lovely finish!
Please share how you quilted this. I, too, am sashing with corner squares. I hand stitched the grannies and will finish the machine applied sashing today. I'm thinking about framing each square in the ditch, then free motion each of the 25 squares differently. I don't want to ruin it. Your thoughts?
How are you quilting the quilt?. I'm almost finished sashing mine and cannot figure out what to do!!!
I wish I could reply to you but you have no e-mail connected to your blogger profile. Sorry
Oh, Carla, I love it! That's so funny that we both used the same fabric on the border. I'm doing a Granny Square in scraps but I really love how using a line ties it all together!
