A CHERRY CHRISTMAS QUILT

There are lots of triangle quilts floating around blogland and on Flickr. My favourite being one I saw at Blue Elephant Stitches. Last week I gave you a little peek, and yesterday I finished it up. Fabrics are Cherry Christmas by Aneela Hoey for Moda. I used 1 charm pack, a tri-recs ruler, and some Bella white.

The print triangles were placed randomly. I think I only had 4 charms left over.

In case there was any doubt that this is a triangle quilt, I reinforced the fact with the quilting.
It took forever : )

The backing was a leftover piece from last year. I thought it was perfect.

It's small, 31" square, but will cover an infant carseat nicely.
Have a great week end!

On the suggestion of Shannon, I am linking up with the 2012 Christmas Quilt Show. Hop on over and take a look at all the entries. There are prizes for just leaving a comment  : )
