RE-VISITING REUNION

Back in February, I finished my Reunion quilt top and posted this picture. We had just had fresh snow the night before.

Fast forward ten months, and it's now quilted. Hard to tell by this picture, it's December  : )

It measures 57 x 74

I gave it to Linda to quilt for me and knowing how much I like straight lines, that's what she did.
She did free motion about half an inch apart.

Can I sing the praises of straight line quilting??? The texture it gives is amazing. To see a bit more of Linda's quilting, visit her blog .

So happy to have this one done and being used.
Have a great week.

So gorgeous, and the quilting is the perfect choice for it. Rather jealous here with your December weather, as we dig our way out after another snow storm!

The quilt is beautiful. I do admire anyone that can manage machine quilting but to do even straight lines takes some doing. Well done both of you. Philippa xx

Gorgeous. I just love this Carla! Reunion is still one of my faves.

And snow? Can I say I'm a little bit envious. If it's going to be cold, let's have SNOW and not all of this rain!

I love it, great job Linda..... And
it is hard to believe the picture was taken in December, not sure when the snow is going to arrive. But we will enjoy it while we can....

Beautiful quilt, Carla. I love the colors--so fresh and bright, especially in the snow. I imagine snuggling under that one will keep a body warm and thoughts happy.

I've been waiting to see how you quilted it - I made one too and needed some inspiration for the quilting part. It looks fantastic!

Hooray for a lovely finish! Linda did a great job on the quilting - it really enhances all your precise piecing! You live in the most beautiful town - all the backdrops for your quilts look like something out of a postcard or travel magazine.
